Having signed up as members we have yet to pay the membership fee or experience a New Horizons event. Romance was in the air & on our plates on Saturday for the best date night yet!
While Sprinkles serenaded us with love songs, Chef Marshall out did himself with a top-notch menu. Delicacies included a sexy salad (Yes! Even the Veggies are sexy at NH), Seared duck breast or Black cod paired with purple potatoes & creamy whipped parsnips. Dessert was off the hook with 3 choices of decadent chocolate flourless cake, lemon cheesecake or raspberry tart . Bartender Josh, added delicious Cosmo & Raspberry Lemon Drop to the drink menu as a surprise for the evening.
Attendance was FANTASTIC for our Valentines Date Night and the volunteer wait staff did an excellent job of taking care of each member, even when we had a surprise rush & had to set up more tables! Way to go crew!
After dinner Sprinkles started our Moulin Rouge themed show with a stunning Black-light dance number followed by a Sexy Fashion show of our members showing off their costumes. The fun continued with a fabulous number from “Cabaret” by Mr. B & hot burlesque by Arousing Rose. Sprinks & Mr.B opened the dance floor with a very romantic version of “So in Love”.

Well, the big Mardi Gras Party is this Saturday and will have a lot of people, entertainment and the works. If you think you might feel overwhelmed, you could try Sunday’s party, which will still have those things, but a little more laid back vibe (typically anyway, who can ever “really” predict a party, right? ha!) I have questions about the Wednesday Salsa Dance classes, so a hello to you people who want to move and grind those hips….
I hear lots of people expressing interest in taking the Wednesday night salsa classes, but I don’t see many solid sign ups for the next session that starts on the 19th of September.
So, I’m reaching out to find out why. Is it the price? The timing? Looking for feedback for this brand new program that, so far, has gotten fantastic feedback from it’s participants.

I would suggest going through the orientation or going as a huest of a member. If you go as a guest maybe mantion you want to check out the club and go with no expectations of joining in on the sexual fun unless your in the mood. Then there is no pressure.

The space is accessible! There is a ramped entrance for the main floor and there are outside ramps leading to the upstairs (a touch of a maze, but completely do-able). We’d suggest the next “Date Night” on 6/16. These are special parties where you choose off an abbreviated menu and beautiful ladies bring it to your table. Wine and beer is furnished and it’s a special night to show your love and appreciation of your spouse/girlfriend. They’re quite popular and it’s been a huge success attendance wise. Next Saturday’s event (Nov 12th) is “Thanks, Spanks and Scorpio Birthdays”
We had such an amazingly positive response to the upstairs spanking area that was set up for our Erotic Ball that I hope to do something similar for this party.
what we’re lacking is the equipment.
(wow – so many jokes…)
Looking for members who plan on attending who would be willing to bring their spanking toys, paddles, whips, etc – maybe a seat or bench – for our members to use.
What we would do is make sure toys are labeled and inventoried to make sure they return to their proper owner and are not allowed out of the area (set up in the upper level of seating above the dance floor).

Hello Lovely People of the Horizons Community!!
We are looking for anyone who is willing and able to help us put up our amazingly elaborate Christmas Holiday Decorations. For anyone who has ever attended our December month you know how much goes into making the club absolutely beautiful.
Saturday November 26 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. we will be focusing on the garland, tree and larger item placements.
Sunday November 27 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. will be the finishing touches to whatever we couldn’t get to Saturday.
We were so grateful for the help we received for Halloween. What would have taken us at least two days took only one!!
With enough hands, we hope that what could take us a week to accomplish could be done within these two days. Thanks in advance for any time you can give.
Food will be provided to help the process. Yayness.

For this Saturday’s Toga Night theme at NH, I thought I’d send out some helpful tips and tricks for our amazing members to make participation a little easier:
HOW TO MAKE A TOGA
*Don’t use a sheet unless you have to! Go to a fabric store and buy something good. Sheets can be expensive and cloth is cheaper. You can buy several yards of really cheap cloth that probably looks a lot cooler than your mother’s sheets would. Plus, you can get some really cool fabric that really represents your personality.
You’ll want four or five yards. It takes about three feet to go around your waist and you’ll need to wrap it at least 1.5 times before throwing the remainder over your shoulder. Then bring the fabric back to your waist and tie it up or wrap it some more or whatever.
Don’t feel like going bare chested? The bare shouldered thing is apparently a myth created by American College Fraternities. The Romans did wear tunic-like shirts underneath the basic toga wrap. But really, what the fun in that? hee hee
Basic design for men is simple:
1. Around the waist at least once.
2. Pin it at that point
3. Throw the rest over one shoulder
4. Around the back
5. Pin it again at the waist
6. Shorts underneath are optional
7. Wear sandals if possible
Variations for females would be to add some basic wrap design accentuating the waist and bust line.
Accessorize! Accessorize! Accessorize!
Plastic swords, gold chains, amulets, large jewelry, strategically placed grape leaves, calf straps crisscrossed from your shoes/sandals, arm and wrist bands, laurels, etc.
Laurels are also easy to make: you can take a wire coat hanger or thick floral wire, bend in a circle to fit your head, then wrap plastic or real leaves around it.

Hows the attendance on Wed nights, never been on a wed and want to check it out.
We have between 50 and 80 people here on a Wed night. Not as big a group as a Saturday with up to 500.
We have a larger turn out the first Wed of the month at our Karaoke night. Still a great party and fun, fun group.
Thanks for welcoming me as a guest this weekend, I had a wonderful time. I’ve given my husband my review of the place, and he agrees, we’ll be joining as soon as he’s back in the states! I didn’t feel pressured or judged at all, everyone who I talked to was very accepting of my situation and boundaries. Looking forward to many more parties at NH, and have to say- all the staff and hosts were very welcoming. I love Norbert!

The yahoo groups site says it is only for current members of Horizons. In the past, even non-members could participate in the courses and workshops offered.

Nope a doodle. Non members are welcome to participate…absolutely. Any classes and extra events will also be posted on the website’s calendar if that helps.

We have been wanting to check out this club for a while. We are regulars at eros events and have heard great things about this place. Our main hold back is the price. At $235+ just to get in the door our first night is just a little too steep. Maybe if the new membership ($150) included our first party we might be more inclined to try it out. We have talked to a lot of other couples and this was their main set back on either not trying out the club or not returning. This is just our thoughts and feedback. Thanks
This weekend is a great chance to get a look without paying the member fee to join. If you sign up for the fetish Festival you can attend the weekend and have the Member fee waived for this weekend events. Your other option is to have a member invite you as there guest and attend your first party as a onetime guest without needed to join.
On the other hand. A onetime couple member fee of $150.00 is a bargain to allow a lifetime of the club benefits. Where can you go to enjoy dinner, dancing and play for an average cost of $85.00 per couple and even spend the night.
Cost to join the club.
I don’t know about you but the last time I went out too a nice sit down dinner, Had live – very live entertainment and had a place to spend the night, Oh ay and there is dancing with a great live band. Makes the place seem very affordable.
And the great memorys —well that is just priceless.
